New Start

Well I guess winter is finally here. Time to dig out the boots, scarves, hats & gloves I suppose. Which begs the question, why do I have more summer clothes than winter?? Especially considering we don't get an awful lot of warm weather here. Not being one for the cold weather, I'm already thinking of somewhere I can escape to for a week or two for some sunshine. Suggestions on the back of a postcard please.

Although I do moan about the winter, there are aspects of it I love. I'm like a big kid really. Can't beat Halloween, a good fireworks display & Christmas festivities (I hear growns from you guys already at the very mention of the C word...'it's only November' you say). Being a family-orientated person & having young children in the family Christmas is fantastic. I always go overboard on the food shopping & spoil everyone with presents. What better time of year to show your loved ones how much you appreciate them.

Anyway, enough about Christmas already. After being overindulgent for the last few weeks I'm feeling the need to start eating properly & am determined to get back to the gym as often as possible. Note to self: find a local gym in London this week. Now I'm settled with a regular apartment I've get access to a fully functional kitchen so no excuses.

Also I've booked new pictures mid December for you guys so what better incentive to get back on track than having to parade around half naked in front on a stranger brandishing a camera!

On the subject of cold weather, does it effect you guys participating in this hobby? I have noticed this week has been particularly quiet in London. Maybe you've all started your Christmas shopping & spending your pennies on other things? Or is it purely just one of those weeks? Who knows.

And another working week is almost finished for me. Heading back home tonight until next week. I am planning on being in London Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays for the foreseeable future so feel free to come by & keep me company for a short while if you're around. Until then, xxx
